At Real Chemistry, we’re a global agency dedicated to transforming healthcare. We offer a hybrid role for our Associate Director, Media, based in any of our US offices (Boston, Chicago, Carmel, Lambertville) or remotely within the US.
What you’ll do:
- Lead tactical strategy and planning for campaigns from a brief.
- Manage a team of Managers and Associates who work on the same accounts.
- Execute and manage campaigns, including training the team to build campaigns in buying platforms, performing QA, and activating according to best practices.
- Represent the team in meetings, status calls, and client conversations, ensuring effective communication between internal capabilities and client/brand needs.
- Pull platform reporting and generate insights for analytics readouts and client deliverables.
- Oversee monthly billing and reconciliation between vendors and internal teams, ensuring timely delivery and processing.
- Lead the planning process alongside senior team members and the Integrated Media team.
- Vet vendor offerings and capabilities regularly to ensure the team uses best‑in‑class technology and the most advanced tools for respective accounts.
- Maintain communication with vendor partners and provide timely updates to all campaign stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Participate in client meetings and conversations when applicable, with support from senior team members.
- Support internal and external communications across several accounts, from responding to a brief and strategic recommendations to developing a multi‑channel plan, recommending measurement, and performing launch and optimization.
- Lead preparation of client‑facing presentation slides summarizing campaign performance, optimizations, recommendations, and wrap‑ups.
- Onboard and train Managers and Associates on account specifics and media buying platform usage.

What you should have:
- 5+ years of professional experience working in digital media as a campaign manager, owning buying platform management, campaign management, optimization, and digital media operations.
- 3+ years of hands‑on platform experience – Programmatic, Paid Search, and/or Paid Social.
- A successful track record of taking on increasing levels of responsibility.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience leading day‑to‑day meetings, statuses, and calls.
- Experience in platform strategy and tactical recommendations.
- Experience with client communication and deliverables.
- Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to effectively resolve issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, critical thinking, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent project management and time management skills, with thorough attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Pay Range: $110,000 – $120,000 (determined by job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location).
