Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Director, Project Management to join our growing team! The position will manage successful delivery of projects across a large portfolio of integrated campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Staff Management: Oversee and manage project managers to ensure excellent project delivery that is on time and within budget, develop skill sets, manage billability targets and resource allocation, foster growth by developing training decks and leading team trainings, support process updates and job descriptions, interview, hire, and train new PMs, provide fiscal oversight of ~$6MM+ revenue programs.
  • Fiscal Oversight & Responsibilities: Estimate new business scopes, develop and review detailed staff plans, partner with Team Leads and Finance to drive profitable margins, analyze and disseminate financial information such as project burns.
  • Agency Systems & Operations: Understand agency systems and processes for operational effectiveness, onboard new PMs, manage larger‑scale cross‑pillar or high‑profile projects, partner with department leaders and resource management to build cross‑functional teams.
  • Individual Contributor to Projects: Understand interdependencies, address and carry inputs across projects, partner with Account team during planning, identify risks and develop mitigation plans, keep teams updated through timelines, status sheets, burn reports, and retrospective reports.

What you should have

  • 7+ years of project management experience in a creative advertising agency.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of project managers.
  • Understanding of client profitability management, scoping and budgeting with accounts of $5MM+ in revenue.
  • Experience with healthcare industry processes, including MLR.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Workfront, Outlook, Veeva, Adobe, Box, OpenAir, JIRA.
  • Experience executing integrated digital marketing campaigns with comprehensive knowledge of digital, social, and print channels.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • High organization with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
  • Comfortable consulting and interfacing with clients and earning client trust.
  • Experience mentoring at least two direct reports.
  • Experience working on Agency of Record (AOR) healthcare projects/accounts for pharma brands.
  • Flexible with evolving processes.

Pay Range

$108,000 – $120,000
