Teneo Digital advises the world's leading CEOs and organizations on how to show up, compete, and win in a digital‑first world, where reputation is built in real time and the right move at the right moment can change everything. We work at the intersection of strategy, communications, and digital, spanning always‑on executive positioning to high‑stakes campaigns across social, search, paid, and emerging platforms. We're looking for an Associate who understands how digital ecosystems work, how audiences behave, and how to translate those insights into strategies and actions that shape reputation, influence stakeholders, and drive business outcomes for some of the world's most recognized leaders and organizations.
Day to day, you'll help leaders and organizations navigate an increasingly complex digital landscape, translating insight into influence and strategy into impact.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute integrated digital and social media strategies for executives and corporate brands, contributing research, insights, and recommendations across fast‑moving campaigns and always‑on programs.
- Support executive visibility and thought leadership programs across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, helping leaders build credibility, influence, and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Drive day‑to‑day client workstreams: draft agendas, manage approvals and escalations, participate in client calls, and keep actions and follow‑through moving with minimal oversight.
- Create client‑ready deliverables (POVs, decks, memos, and social copy) in the appropriate voice and requiring minimal editing; assist with crisis and issues communications as needed.
- Assist with paid social and digital campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, X, and Google, including targeting, creative coordination, channel and spend management, and performance optimization.
- Conduct social listening, digital audits, and competitor analyses; measure and report on campaign performance (paid and organic), translating findings and learnings into actionable recommendations and ongoing optimization.
- Support digital visibility initiatives across SEO, GEO, and online reputation management, with awareness of emerging AI‑driven search experiences and evolving platform dynamics.
- Stay current on the digital ecosystem and leverage AI and LLM tools to support research, content development, and workflow efficiency, bringing relevant trends and implications proactively to client teams.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years in digital and social media, with demonstrated ownership of workstreams on accounts and integrated campaigns.
- Strong track record planning and optimizing multi‑channel programs across owned, social, search, and paid channels, with measurable impact across metrics such as SOV, engagement, amplification, and reputation‑related outcomes.
- Demonstrated platform expertise across major social channels, with the ability to build channel strategies and editorial calendars grounded in audience behavior and format priorities.
- Hands‑on experience activating and managing paid programs, with working knowledge of targeting, testing, and optimization levers.
- Experience using social listening tools (such as Sprinklr, Quid, NewsWhip, etc.) to monitor competitors, cultural trends, and emerging issues, and translate signals into clear recommendations.
- Exposure to issues and crisis communications, including monitoring protocols, escalation processes, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to participate confidently in client meetings and present recommendations.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment where priorities shift and responsiveness matters.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
