We’re looking for a charismatic, hands-on assistant manager to join us at The Prince of Wales, a warm and lively neighbourhood pub in the heart of Highgate Village. This is not an office job. We want someone who loves being on the floor, chatting to guests, guiding the team and creating a brilliant atmosphere. It’s the perfect step-up role for a strong Supervisor or Assistant Manager who is ready to take on more.
What the role involves:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the pub with confidence and a friendly presence
- Being front of house and building great relationships with regulars and locals
- Supporting and guiding the team during service
- Managing rotas, stock, ordering, deliveries and essential operational admin
- Keeping the pub looking great and running smoothly
- Maintaining standards across service, hygiene, safety and atmosphere
- Opening and closing the venue
- Working closely with the owners on ideas and weekly operations
Who we’re looking for:
- Someone who genuinely enjoys people and brings warmth and energy
