Real Chemistry is looking for an Account Director to join our growing team. The role is responsible for client relationships and serves as a trusted partner to clients, leading engagements, managing cross‑functional teams, and driving innovative solutions in healthcare and digital health.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain productive client relationships to exceed expectations.
  • Initiate ongoing communication with clients to manage expectations and staffing resources.
  • Contribute to overall client financial management; establish and meet internal client revenue targets.
  • Provide proactive counsel on research, marketplace, competitive pressures, and brand influences.
  • Lead multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Collaborate to drive strategic solutions for business and communications challenges.
  • Identify new business opportunities for Real Chemistry and the client.
  • Create clear, concise decks outlining business objectives.
  • Encourage and lead internal teams to ensure technical and operational excellence in all executions.
  • Manage project challenges, ensuring timely and on‑budget delivery.
  • Partner to streamline and innovate tactical processes.
  • Develop integrated business capabilities through trend‑spotting and strategic recommendations.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
  • 8+ years of experience within public relations, communications, and/or advertising.
  • Proficiency in the evolving digital landscape and its impact on clients’ business.
  • Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet timelines, prioritize, and manage detailed budgets.
  • Outstanding business and data communication skills; able to explain complex technical terms to management and clients.
  • Proven ability to lead account teams and become a trusted client partner.
  • Experience identifying organic new business; some exposure to new business pitch work.
  • Experience managing junior staff such as interns or associates.
  • High energy and ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Domestic travel for client meetings and conferences (up to 10%).

Pay Range: $98,000 - $115,000. Compensation determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
