About the studio

This is one of the most awarded retail design agencies in the world, and it has earned that the long way round. Over forty-five years they have built a reputation for creative excellence and genuine cultural relevance, working with globally recognised brands to design retail experiences that actually move people rather than just shift product. The client list runs through sport, fashion, beauty, and well beyond, and the work spans flagship stores, brand activations, and global strategy.

The studio sits in Angel, North London, and the culture is the kind you would hope for from a place like this: collaborative, non-hierarchical, and creatively restless. Designers, strategists, architects, brand experts, and makers all work under one roof, and the standard stays consistently high. This is a studio that has been doing things properly for a very long time, and it shows in the work. Not a place resting on its history. A place still trying to better it.

About the role

This is a mid-weight creative role within the Retail and Interiors team, and a genuinely good one. You will work across retail environments and experiential briefs for some well-known brands, developing concepts and then producing the visuals and models to bring them to life. You will have senior designers around you for support, but you will also be given real ownership of your own work, which is the part that makes a role like this worth having. There is plenty of room to grow for someone with the right attitude and the curiosity to use it.

Your days will look something like this:

  • Develop design concepts across retail interiors and brand environment projects, from early ideation through to presentation
  • Produce 3D models, visualisations, and technical drawings in SketchUp and V-Ray
  • Work closely with senior designers across project stages, taking ownership of your own deliverables
  • Contribute to client presentations with well-reasoned ideas and a clear narrative behind every design decision
  • Stay across emerging trends in retail, materials, and production methods
  • Collaborate across disciplines: interiors, brand communications, and strategy
  • Manage your time across several live projects at once

You might be our perfect match if…

  • You have around 3+ years in retail design, branded environments, or commercial interiors
  • Your portfolio shows creative ambition alongside solid technical ability, the sort of work that is interesting as well as competent
  • You are proficient in SketchUp and V-Ray, with confidence across the Adobe Suite
  • You can present your ideas clearly and talk through the thinking behind a design decision
  • You are curious, self-motivated, and ready to take on more responsibility than your current role allows

Why this one

  • Up to £45,000, dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working, with 3 days in a well-equipped London studio and 2 from home
  • Over 300 design awards and forty-five years of creative excellence behind the name
  • A non-hierarchical studio where good ideas get heard regardless of the job title attached to them
  • Clients across sport, fashion, beauty, and culture at a global level
  • A genuinely collaborative team of designers, strategists, architects, and makers
