About the Studio

This is a studio that has spent years building a genuinely impressive body of work: retail environments, experiential activations, and brand spaces for some of the most recognisable names in fashion, footwear, and lifestyle. The team is tight-knit and skilled, and the standard of output is something people here take real pride in. If you want to work somewhere that cares deeply about getting things right, this is that place.

About the Role

This is a pure artworking role. No creative direction, no design ambiguity: just the satisfaction of taking signed-off work and making it absolutely, unimpeachably production-ready. If you are someone who finds genuine pleasure in pixel-perfect precision and feels uncomfortable letting anything imperfect leave your desk, this will suit you very well indeed. As the senior artworker in the studio, you will be the final technical checkpoint before files go to print or production. That means working across a high volume of concurrent projects, spanning large-format retail print, POS, digital display, and campaign rollout materials, and owning the process from file receipt to supplier sign-off. You will also be setting the technical benchmark for the studio, mentoring junior artworkers, and building out the systems and standards that keep everything running cleanly.

Your Days Will Look Something Like This...

  • Take creative-director-approved designs and prepare all files to a production-ready standard across large-format print, POS, window graphics, environmental graphics, digital display, and campaign materials.
  • Version, resize, and adapt assets across multiple formats and sizes, maintaining complete fidelity to the approved master artwork at every stage.
  • Ensure all files meet the specific technical requirements of each supplier, print house, or production partner, including bleed, crop marks, colour profiles, resolution, and file format.
  • Retouch and colour-correct imagery to print standards, maintaining consistency across full campaign suites.
  • Act as the studio's final quality gate: review every file for errors, missing fonts, incorrect colour spaces, low-res imagery, and spec mismatches before anything leaves the building.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison with the studio's print and production partners, troubleshooting issues and attending press passes where needed.
  • Maintain rigorous version control and file management across all active and archived projects, and build out a library of supplier templates and print specs.
  • Mentor junior artworkers, quality-check their output, and work with the Design Director to improve artworking workflows across the studio.

You Might Be Our Perfect Match If...

  • You have at least six years of professional experience in a technical artworking or production artworker role, ideally within a design agency, production house, or retail/experiential environment.
  • Your Adobe Creative Suite skills are genuinely expert-level, particularly in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of print production processes, colour management (CMYK, Pantone, spot colour, profile conversions), and what it takes to get a file to press without drama.
  • Large-format and wide-format print preparation is second nature to you, including substrates, finishes, and the particular demands of retail and experiential contexts.
  • You are meticulous to the point of stubbornness about accuracy, and errors do not leave your desk.
  • You can manage a high volume of concurrent projects under tight, non-negotiable deadlines, and you have a clear system for doing so.
  • Experience with digital display formats, environmental graphics, or working alongside 3D design teams would be a genuine bonus.
  • A working knowledge of After Effects or motion-related file formats is useful but by no means essential.
