About the Studio

This is a tight, founder-led consultancy doing seriously good work in the fit-out and refurbishment space. They operate across retail, leisure, and hospitality — the kind of environments where the finish matters and the pressure is real. The team is lean, the standards are high, and the founders are hands-on. You won't disappear into a hierarchy here. The culture is straightforward: deliver, communicate well, and take ownership. In return, you get direct access to decision-makers, a genuine say in how things are done, and the chance to grow as the business does. It's the sort of place where good people get noticed quickly.

About the Role

This is a full-lifecycle Project Manager role, covering everything from feasibility through to handover across multiple live projects at any one time. You'll be client-facing from day one, managing budgets, programmes, contractors, and consultants — with the trust and autonomy to run your own projects properly. The business is growing, and this hire reflects that. There's a clear opportunity here for someone who wants more than just a job title — someone ready to take real ownership, build client relationships that last, and help shape the way the consultancy operates as it scales.

Your days will look something like this…

  • Lead projects from feasibility through to completion, managing risk, budget, and programme throughout
  • Run site visits and contractor meetings across the UK, keeping everything moving and on brief
  • Produce weekly client updates and progress reports that are clear, accurate, and actually useful
  • Manage external consultants — design, architecture, specialist subcontractors — and hold them to account on time and cost
  • Value-engineer construction elements without letting quality slip
  • Oversee H&S compliance across all active sites, including contractor and supplier adherence
  • Deliver new-store rollouts and refurbishments for retail and hospitality clients
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and the wider supply chain

You might be our perfect match if...

  • You have a solid track record delivering high-end retail or hospitality fit-outs across the UK
  • You've worked on both contractor-side and client-side contracts and know how both think
  • You understand construction H&S legislation and hold relevant site-based certifications (CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent)
  • You're genuinely organised — the kind of person whose programmes and cost trackers other people actually rely on
  • Your Excel skills go beyond the basics: formulas, spreadsheet-building, the works
  • You hold a clean UK driving licence and are comfortable with regular UK travel
  • CSCS/SMSTS certification is a bonus, though not a dealbreaker

Why this one

  • Up to £75,000 DOE, plus an annual bonus scheme
  • Private medical insurance
  • Hybrid working — one day from home, the rest where the action is
  • Direct access to the founders from day one — no layers, no politics
  • Your birthday off (the full day, not a half-day compromise)
  • Employee referral bonus scheme
  • A role that genuinely grows as the business does
