Freelance Technical Designer

3-week contract | Immediate start (Monday 27th July)
A busy design consultancy is looking for two experienced Freelance Technical Designers to support a live pipeline of hospitality and retail projects during a busy delivery period.
This isn't a concept role.
The design work is done. What they need now is someone who can step in, take ownership of technical delivery, and produce accurate, contractor-ready drawing packages with minimal onboarding.
You'll be working on construction documentation, design intent packages, general arrangement drawings, joinery details and technical coordination, helping projects move confidently towards site.
This role will suit someone who's comfortable working independently, understands the pace of a consultancy environment, and has produced construction drawing packages for hospitality, retail or branded environments before.
You'll Need
- Strong Vectorworks proficiency
- Proven experience producing Construction Documentation (CD) Sets
- Experience creating detailed design intent and technical drawing packages
- Background in hospitality, retail or branded environments
- Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to start Monday 27th July
Contract Details
- Start: Monday 27th July
- Duration: Approximately 3 weeks, with potential to extend
- Location: Remote or London studio
- Day Rate: DOE
