We’re partnering with a UK-wide brand to help grow their in-house design team with a technically strong, detail-driven Interior Architect.

This is a rare opportunity to work in-house on a wide range of customer-facing environments—from interiors to facias and signage—across a national network of retail-style branches.

The Role

You’ll turn creative concepts into accurate, buildable drawings—balancing brand consistency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.

Expect a healthy mix of interiors and exteriors, layout planning, finishes selection, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate creative design packs into precise AutoCAD drawings
  • Space plan for a variety of retail and branch layouts
  • Select finishes and FF&E from a pre-approved library
  • Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regs and accessibility standards
  • Champion sustainability and innovation in design

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role (retail, commercial, or financial services ideal)
  • Strong AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Solid knowledge of UK H&S and building regulations
  • Confident communicator and project coordinator
  • Self-starter attitude – it’s a newly created role, so there’s room to shape it
