Job Type: Permanent.

A site-based delivery role, not a studio design role: you'll be running the construction and fit-out of pub refurbs on behalf of the designers.

Dedicated to one of their major UK clients, a well-known pub brand.

Around 5 years' on-site experience delivering hospitality construction or fit-out projects.

Pub refurbishment and fit-out delivery experience is the sweet spot here.

The Studio: We're working with a global design consultancy that has been at the forefront of hospitality design for almost 30 years, shaping how bars, restaurants, pubs, and hotels create experiences their customers love. This role sits within their delivery function, alongside the Interior Design team, and is all about getting the designs built. You'll be managing the on-site construction and fit-out of multiple pub refurbishments for one of their major UK clients, making sure what was drawn in the studio is what gets delivered on site, on time, on budget, and safely.

Day to Day, You'll Be...

  • Leading and coordinating the construction and fit-out of multiple pub refurbishment projects, managing programmes, budgets, and deliverables from pre-start through to practical completion and handover.
  • Being on site regularly to monitor progress, quality, and workmanship, and to make sure the build matches the design intent.
  • Acting as a key client contact, representing the project delivery function and supporting communication across all stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the Technical Design Lead to resolve on-site design queries and coordinate detailing.
  • Managing main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to keep the build moving and delivery smooth.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and CDM requirements on site, in collaboration with the appointed CDM consultant.
  • Coordinating with internal studio, operations, and finance teams to manage resourcing, scheduling, and commercial performance.
  • Spotting opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline programme delivery.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ideally, 5 years of on-site experience managing construction or fit-out projects, in hospitality or a closely related sector.
  • A strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and duty holder responsibilities (Client, Principal Designer, and Principal Contractor).
  • A solid technical background in construction, joinery, and millwork detailing within hospitality environments, ideally public houses, and the confidence to challenge a contractor when something isn't right.
  • Experience managing hospitality, leisure, or retail fit-outs, with pub brand experience a real advantage.
  • Proficiency in reviewing AutoCAD drawings and construction packages, with familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp a bonus.
  • The self-sufficiency to run your own diary and workload remotely, and the willingness to be on site wherever the projects take you.

Why This One Stands Out: Fully remote fit-out delivery roles with this much autonomy are rare in hospitality. You'll own the on-site delivery of pub refurbs across the country for a consultancy that genuinely cares about the end experience, without being tied to a studio desk five days a week.
