We're partnering with a globally recognised design studio to find an exceptional Associate Director, Interior Design, to join their London team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving design quality, inspiring creativity across the studio, and overseeing the delivery of projects at scale – all while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking team culture.
About the Role:
- Deliver standout creative across medium to large-scale interior design projects.
- Lead the conceptual and design development process, encouraging bold and original thinking.
- Present compelling design narratives to clients.
Project Oversight:
- Own the successful delivery of projects, maintaining oversight from inception to completion.
- Delegate third-party coordination while remaining the senior point of contact.
Team Management:
- Foster a positive, values-driven team culture.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Provide clear feedback and performance reviews.
Client Development:
- Nurture existing client relationships and seek out new opportunities.
- Attend events and industry forums to support business development.
- Assist in bid writing, proposals, and fee negotiations.
- Understand and manage project financials with attention to resourcing and profitability.
About You:
- A strong creative vision and portfolio of large-scale, high-quality design projects.

- Skilled in relevant design software and tools.
- Degree-qualified in interior design or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
