We’re looking for a newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong technical accounting skills and a strategic mindset to join a fast growing Fintech with over 10 entities. You will support statutory, regulatory, and lender reporting, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards. This is a critical role for maintaining financial integrity and ensuring compliance with external obligations.

Hybrid: 3 days in the office - 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements (individual entity and consolidated) under FRS102 and IAS
  • Contribute to technical accounting projects, providing research, recommendations, and implementation
  • Support year-end processes, including journals, audit deliverables, and internal procedures
  • Prepare FCA regulatory returns and facility reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Play a key role in external audit workstreams
  • Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and advisers on reporting and technical matters
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as required

About You

  • Newly qualified accountant with a strong academic and professional track record
  • Experience in statutory and/or regulatory reporting, preferably in financial services or audit
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102, IAS, and working knowledge of IAS39 and IFRS9
  • Confident in dealing with stakeholders and recommending technical approaches
  • Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail and ability to think strategically
  • Familiarity with debt securitisation reporting (desirable)
  • Experience with Netsuite (advantageous)
