As a Practice Host, you will be responsible for greeting clients with a friendly wag of the tail, answering phones with a purr-fectly pleasant attitude, and scheduling appointments with the speed of a cheetah. You will also assist our furry patients with check-ins, weigh-ins, and making sure they feel as comfortable as a cat in a sunbeam.

In this role, you will need to have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our clients and their pets receive the best care possible. A love for animals is a must, as well as the ability to handle any hairy situations that may come your way.

What You’ll Do:
  • Be the Friendly Face: Greet clients and their pets with a warm smile and cheerful attitude.
  • Client Communication Whiz: Answer phone calls and respond to emails with professionalism and friendliness. Schedule appointments, send reminders, and manage our busy calendar. Provide clients with information about our services, treatments, and products.
  • Pet Advocate: Assist pet owners with bookings, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date. Help clients understand treatment plans and follow-up care instructions. Handle pet-related inquiries with empathy and expertise.
  • Organisational Superstar: Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area. Keep client records organised and confidential. Process payments and manage billing with accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with veterinarians, nurses, and other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations. Assist with clinic events, promotions, and community outreach activities. Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Provide creative solutions to enhance client satisfaction and clinic efficiency.
