About the Role
As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing fire alarm and security systems, ensuring they remain fully operational and compliant. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction while contributing to the safety and security of their premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on fire alarm systems, VSS (CCTV) systems, and other security systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose technical issues with fire alarm systems, VSS (CCTV) cameras, and other security systems promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency service calls, demonstrating a speedy and effective approach to resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Ensure all work adheres to current legislation and working standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Significant experience as a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer.
- Strong IT skills and understanding of networks and network-connected devices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Flexible attitude and approach, including excellent interpersonal skills.
- Participation in an on-call rota.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
