Swaps Middle Office – Senior Associate / VP

A growing financial markets firm, is looking for an experienced Swaps Middle Office professional to support the launch and development of a new business line, with a focus on Equity Swaps, Total Return Swaps and related financing products.

This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the swaps trade lifecycle while helping build and improve the Middle Office function, including operational processes, controls and systems.

The Role

• Manage the full swaps trade lifecycle, including trade booking, reconciliations, resets, corporate actions, financing and collateral.
• Work closely with Trading, Risk, Finance and Operations to investigate and resolve trade discrepancies.
• Oversee daily position, cash and P&L reconciliations, ensuring accurate trade processing and risk management.
• Help build and improve operational workflows, controls and processes to support the growing swaps business.
• Partner with Technology teams on system enhancements, automation and process improvements.
• Support new product development and help establish a scalable Middle Office function.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in Equity Swaps, Total Return Swaps or Synthetic Prime Brokerage.
• Background in Middle Office, Trade Support, Equity Finance or Delta One operations.
• Good understanding of the swaps trade lifecycle, including resets, financing, corporate actions and reconciliations.
• Experience implementing operational improvements, controls or system enhancements.
• Comfortable working closely with trading desks, clients and wider operational teams.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to take ownership in a growing business.
