Job Description

twentyAI have partnered with a Financial Services firm in London who are looking for an exeprienced Programme Manager to lead high-profile change initiatives across their banking platforms. You’ll take ownership of complex programmes — starting with a major Lending transformation — and be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery, from initial planning through to execution, launch, and realisation of business benefits.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, managing diverse stakeholders, and delivering impactful, business-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of major transformation programmes, ensuring delivery meets defined outcomes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead multiple project streams simultaneously, aligning delivery with business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Help to modernise banking platforms across risk, finance, treasury
  • Set up and manage robust programme governance frameworks, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders and executive committees.
  • Oversee planning, risk management, and financial forecasting to maintain control across the entire programme lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with technical, business, and vendor teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration into day-to-day operations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all programme teams including architecture and technical teams

What You’ll Bring:

  • Financial Services background in leading complex, multi-workstream programmes with both technical and operational impact.
  • Experience managing budgets over £2 million, with a solid track record of delivering on time and within scope.
  • Practical understanding and application of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and report clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with and managing third-party vendors to deliver successful outcomes.
