As a Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for risk management and control activities across assigned departments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete risk assessments, conduct control testing, and ensure effective risk governance within the bank.
  • Take ownership for running RCSAs and ensure that risks are reported in line with the Risk Management framework.
  • Analyse potential Operational Risk events and embed processes to protect the business in case of such events.
  • Embed awareness and appropriate processes for dealing with vulnerable customers.
  • Act as a central point of contact for risk matters, working across departments and with oversight teams to maintain and improve risk controls and reporting.
  • Strengthen the overall risk framework and support a culture that prioritises risk awareness and customer care.

Role Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks.
  • Experience in analysing operational risks and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Proven ability to conduct control tests, process reviews, and assurance activities.
  • Commercial awareness with a strong customer focus.
