An established European organisation with an international footprint is looking to appoint an AI Enablement Engineer to own, develop and evolve its AI capabilities. The business operates across multiple sectors and is investing heavily in AI to increase personal productivity and automate workflows.

Role

As the firm's technical AI lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing the firm's internal AI platform capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Investor Relations, and Investment teams to identify business requirements and deliver scalable AI-driven solutions. This role will play a key part in driving safe and effective AI adoption across the organization, from secure platform integration through to promoting development standards and increasing AI awareness across teams. You will also help translate operational needs into reusable technical components while supporting governance aligned with security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Key Skills

  • Demonstrated experience building or leading enterprise AI platforms or solutions
  • Strong understanding of large language model (LLM) technologies, including commercial and open-source models
  • Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and associated tooling (embedding models, vector databases, retrieval methods)
  • Strong Python skills with experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, and data systems
  • Experience across the full SDLC
  • Understanding of enterprise governance, security, privacy, and compliance considerations
  • Strategic approach focused on scalability, reliability, and reusable platform design
  • Curiosity for identifying AI-driven improvements across operational processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Thoughtful approach to AI governance, risk, and responsible adoption
