Following a recent rebrief, there is a renewed focus on strategic, solutions-led data architecture. They are now seeking a Lead-level Data Architect to drive forward critical initiatives and deliver enterprise-grade data solutions.
The Role
As a Lead Data Solutions Architect, you will operate as a senior member of the data architecture function, working alongside the Lead Data Architect but with end-to-end ownership of high-impact projects. This is a hands-on, solutions-led role where you will design and deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned data platforms using Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Terraform. You’ll collaborate across engineering and business functions to translate complex requirements into actionable, value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of Azure-based data architecture solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Drive architectural decision-making and own the end-to-end solution design across key workstreams.
- Architect scalable data pipelines and platforms using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and MS Fabric.
- Define and enforce data governance, compliance, and security standards within a regulated environment.
- Leverage Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to ensure efficient and scalable cloud deployments.
- Partner closely with data engineers, analysts, and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience in data architecture with a strong focus on Azure Cloud and data platform design.
- Deep expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and broader Azure Data Services.
- Proven ability to lead solution architecture for complex data initiatives in regulated industries.
