We are partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing fintech company based in London, committed to building robust financial operations and scaling efficiently in a collaborative environment. They are seeking a Finance Manager who will play a key part in managing the company’s core finance operations.
You’ll be responsible for accurate financial reporting and smooth financial processes, ensuring filings are completed on time and supporting compliance and audit activities. This hands-on role is ideal for a qualified accountant wanting to build a strong technical foundation and drive improvements as the business grows.
Responsibilities- Lead the month-end close and prepare financial and management reports.
- Support tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and coordinate with external advisors.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolving issues promptly.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and well-documented transactions.
- Improve and document finance processes to support scaling and audit readiness.
- Work closely with other teams to design and implement workflow improvements.
- Assist with audit schedules and statutory filings.
- Support the migration to a new accounting system through testing, data validation, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in a startup, fintech, or leading professional services firm.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, comfortable with data.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Professional fluency in English.
- London-based and able to work in the office at least 3 days a week.
- Familiarity with Xero, Netsuite, or similar accounting software.
- Experience with international payments, FX, or multi-currency finance.
