A leading Private Equity firm is seeking a hands-on Data Lead to drive the delivery of a major data platform transformation. Working closely with the Head of Technology, you’ll lead the migration from a legacy SQL environment to a modern cloud-based data platform, providing technical leadership while remaining actively involved in the design and delivery of scalable data solutions.

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, and SQL
  • Strong technical leadership with a hands-on approach
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD beneficial
  • Private Equity or Financial Services experience advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of the cloud data platform transformation
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines and data models
  • Drive the migration from a legacy SQL environment
  • Promote engineering best practice and data quality
  • Collaborate with technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver key programme milestones
