We are seeking a driven Legal Entity Control Consultant to join the Legal Entity Control team on a 9-month contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting international business growth objectives, enhancing risk and control documentation, and contributing to the Financial Control and Reporting team's key initiatives. Your efforts will directly impact the development of a robust control environment while ensuring accurate financial reporting and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in new product approval processes.
- Conducting impact assessments for legal entity controllers and regulatory reporting (as applicable).
- Collaborating with reporting teams to validate and present impact assessments.
- Documenting and supporting the risk and control requirements of the Legal Entity Control team.
- Providing financial control and reporting support for BAU activities as needed.
Key Skills
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry with a focus on Legal Entity Control or Financial Reporting (general ledger, balance sheet, P&L).
- Qualified accountant.
- Strong systems knowledge and technical/analytical skills.
- In-depth product knowledge of derivatives, securities, and trade finance.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-directed, motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
