Job Description
TwentyAI are partnering with a fast-scaling, private equity-backed SaaS business to appoint a Commercial Finance Director to lead the global Commercial Finance and FP&A function.
This is a high-impact leadership role that will shape the company’s financial strategy, drive data-led decision-making, and enable scalable global growth. You’ll lead a talented team and work closely with the CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and investors to deliver best-in-class commercial insight and financial performance.
You will:
• Lead and develop a high-performing Commercial Finance team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Build a scalable financial planning and reporting framework across a global SaaS organisation.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver actionable insights, financial models, and KPIs that drive profitable growth.
• Partner with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare board and investor reporting, supporting M&A and other strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and system enhancements across finance tools and processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven success leading Commercial Finance and/or FP&A teams within a global or high-growth business.
• Expertise in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and performance management.
• Experience implementing FP&A systems and process improvements.
• Advanced Excel / Power BI / financial modelling capability (Python or VBA a plus).
• A strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and driving performance.
