We are working with a leading commodity firm in London who are looking for a Business Analyst to join as part of a digital transformation programme. This’ll focus on working across multiple business teams on high-impact, non-trading IT projects. The primary focus of work includes managing workflow processes across the organisation utilising Microsoft Power Automate as the core toolkit. You will work autonomously on a critical project that will increase the efficiency of the business, working closely with key stakeholders to deliver the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various business units to gather requirements and map out existing workflow processes.
  • Drive the transition from paper-based to paperless processes through the adoption of modern tools.
  • Lead business analysis efforts on a significant upgrade project transitioning from SharePoint to Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the enhancement and ongoing management of a vendor-provided solution for counterparty risk management, including aspects of KYC and exposure monitoring using CubeLogic.
  • Participate in and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
  • Help ensure process automation tools are implemented effectively and fit for purpose.
  • Monitor and support continuous improvement of existing business process automation solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a background in process automation or document/workflow digitisation.
  • Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on upgrade projects and managing third-party vendor relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of business users and teams.
  • Experience with counterparty risk systems or familiarity with tools like CubeLogic is a plus.
  • Background in energy or commodities industries is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
