Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trade surveillance and front office monitoring to detect suspicious trading activity.
• Provide regulatory guidance to front office staff on compliance with MAR and other trading regulations.
• Analyse large trade and order data sets.
• Assist in delivering the firm\’s market abuse training program.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective risk-based approach across trading activities.
• Participate in ad-hoc compliance governance duties as required.

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of experience in Trade Surveillance or Market Abuse monitoring within financial services (Equities/Fixed Income preferred).
• Strong understanding of Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and compliance frameworks.
• Analytical mindset, with experience handling large data sets and identifying trading patterns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Python and SQL is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise front office teams.
