What You\’ll Do:

• Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice on AML/CTF/Sanctions/ABC matters, including customer due diligence, policy governance, training, and compliance assurance.
• Advanced Analysis: Conduct skilled research, risk assessment, and analytical support, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Policy Development: Assist in creating and implementing robust AML/CTF/Sanctions/ABC policies, processes, and controls.
• Risk Assessment: Facilitate periodic risk and self-assessment activities
• Compliance Audits: Handle escalated matters related to suspicious activity and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business and control partners to maintain compliance and address regulatory requirements.
• Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to measure and communicate risk factors.

What We\’re Looking For:

• Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in financial crime management, including previous MLRO, DMLRO, or Director roles within global markets banking.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AML/CTF/Sanctions/ABC regulations and best practices.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse risk exposure and make recommendations for process enhancements.
• Industry Expertise: Keep current on emerging issues, trends, and regulatory changes, and assess their impact on the business.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
