About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to join a collaborative, forward-thinking Law firm as a Senior AML Risk & Compliance Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role is based in Sheffield with hybrid working and offers a broad scope of responsibility across AML, sanctions, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients and matters.
- Assess risk related to jurisdictions, activities, and legal/regulatory context.
- Carry out screening for PEPs, sanctions, and reputational issues through company search tools.
- Own the full AML workflow process, escalating concerns where necessary.
- Maintain and update client information in internal finance systems.
- Provide support and guidance to staff and fee earners on compliance queries and processes.
About You
- Experience in an AML, compliance, or risk role—preferably in a professional services environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator with practical problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of AML frameworks and client onboarding procedures.
