Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a qualified, dedicated and highly motivated Year 3 Teacher to work within an ambitious and stimulating ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Canterbury. This wonderful full-time opportunity starts in January on an ongoing basis covering a maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:
· Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
· Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
· Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school’s curriculum policy
· Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
· Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
· Deploy any support staff effectively
· Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
· Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
Must have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)
· Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
· Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
· Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
· Excellent classroom management
· Good communication skills
