Your Duties
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical installations
- Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and contract terms
- Allocate workload effectively across the team to meet multiple concurrent tender deadlines
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and specialist installers
- Provide technical and commercial input during the early stages of project development
Your Experience
- Strong experience in M&E estimating within the construction industry
- Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services or similar
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement routes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation
