We have an exclusive collaboration with FCHT for the appointment of a new Head of Football Development – Academy & Foundation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to advance their career in National League football. Ideally, you will have current or recent experience within the Academy and Foundation departments of a professional football club. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Football Development to lead their Academy and Foundation Programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive football development strategy that aligns with the club's values and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Academy and Foundation Programmes.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture within the Academy, ensuring the holistic development of young players.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to design and deliver age-appropriate training sessions and development plans.
- Foster strong relationships with local schools, clubs, and community organisations to promote football participation and talent identification.
- Monitor and evaluate player progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
