The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and professional Insurance Account Handler to join their team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with accuracy and care. You’ll handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business opportunities while maintaining compliance and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
- Prepare and issue quotations, renewals, and policy documentation
- Negotiate competitive premiums and terms with insurers
- Handle client queries promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records using Acturis and CRM systems
- Assist with claims handling and identify cross-selling opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year experience in an insurance role (broker or insurer environment)
- Strong understanding of general insurance principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Acturis (essential)
- Customer-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team
