A great opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly growing practice based in York.
- Company pension scheme
- 28 days holiday per annum
- Free parking
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (this can be flexible for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day bookkeeping on Sage, Xero & Freeagent.
- Preparation of VAT returns and EC reports.
- Preparation of bank reconciliations.
- Process month end journals.
- My client operates Virtual Cabinet (internal paperless document management system). Full training will be provided on Xero & Freeagent if required.
Requirements:
- Preferably minimum of 2 years experience.
- Confident on general VAT rules, including basic international transactions.
- Capable of managing own workflow and clients.
- Great communicator with clients and colleagues.
- May be required to visit clients on site, therefore own transport required.
