Role: We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a greenfield initiative within one of the worlds largest market data platforms.
Youll help build the capability to monitor, measure and understand market data performance across 40+ global data centres.
The role focuses on synthetic testing, latency measurement and large-scale data aggregation, transforming performance data into global latency views and actionable health insights.
Key
Responsibilities: Build systems for globally distributed synthetic testing of market data flows.
Develop aggregation layers to process large-scale latency data.
Create global latency views and health dashboards.
Analyse distributed data to identify performance bottlenecks.
Improve monitoring, diagnostics and operational visibility.
Contribute to the architecture and development of a new platform from the ground up.
Required
Experience: Experience building high-performance, latency-sensitive systems at scale.
Background in globally distributed, real-time systems or large-scale data infrastructure.
Strong experience with Go, Rust or C++.
Proficiency in Python, Java or Type Script.
Experience handling large data volumes and building scalable processing pipelines.
Strong understanding of system performance, latency measurement and optimisation.
