Are you an experienced and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We are seeking SEN TAs to work on a full-time, long-term ongoing basis starting in September. We supply to a variety of innovative and welcoming Special Needs Schools across Coventry, Warwick, Alcester and the surrounding areas of Warwickshire.
Successful candidates will be confident supporting children and young people aged 5-16 years with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential in a supportive educational environment. You may work with pupils diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Difficulties, Sensory Impairments and/or Physical Disabilities.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing general classroom TA support/small group intervention sessions/1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Completing administrative tasks as required
- Supporting the monitoring and tracking of academic progress
- Promoting and maintaining positive behaviour
