Overview

Secondary Teacher/ECT – Warwickshire – ASAP

Location: Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas

Salary: £150-£260 per day (paid weekly)

Start Date: ASAP/January 2026

Hours: Part-time or full-time available

Contract: Daily supply, short/long term and temp to perm roles available

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils\’ well-being following statutory provisions
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the curriculum and student needs
  • Assess, record and report on the progress of students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports positive behaviour and mutual respect, following the school\’s behaviour policy
  • Contribute to wider school life, including pastoral care
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers to support student progress and wellbeing
  • Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Reads the DfE \’Keeping Children Safe in Education\’ (2025 document)
  • Specialises in any secondary subject (we have roles to suit all subject areas)
  • Genuine love for teaching and learning
  • Impressive classroom management
  • Excellent communication, Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
  • Resilient, reflective and committed to making a positive difference
