  • Organise and lead musical events, concerts and extra-curricular clubs such as choir, orchestra or band.
  • Foster a positive and energetic classroom environment that celebrates talent and teamwork.
  • Encourage self-expression and critical listening through diverse musical traditions and styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help every learner succeed.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns.
  • Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence.
