Are you a patient, passionate and proactive SEN TA with a genuine passion for helping vulnerable young people succeed? A caring and nurturing Special Needs School in Dowsby, Lincolnshire, is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a full-time, long-term ongoing basis from September.
The School provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic learning environment for children and young people. As part of a wider residential provision, the School places strong emphasis on building trusting relationships, promoting emotional wellbeing and helping every pupil develop the confidence and skills needed to achieve their full potential.
The curriculum is carefully tailored to meet individual learning needs, combining academic learning with life skills, communication, emotional development and preparation for adulthood. Learning is personalised, engaging and delivered in a calm, structured environment where every achievement is celebrated.
The School caters for pupils aged 8-18 years with additional needs such as Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
