HLTA – Ramsgate – January ** Location: Ramsgate ** Start: January ** School: Secondary School (SEND Department) ** Pay rate: £100-£115 Twenty4Seven Education is seeking to appoint a skilful, passionate, patient and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within the SEND Department at a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary School in Ramsgate, Kent. This exciting full-time role starts in January on an ongoing basis. You will be supporting pupils aged 11-18 who struggle to attend school because of Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). You will contribute to improving the attendance of students who are struggling with mental health issues, particularly anxiety. You will raise student achievement through effective support and liaising with parents/carers, SENCO, Attendance Lead, class teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals, to create bespoke strategies to encourage greater engagement with learning.
