Sen Teaching Assistant in Greenhithe

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs in a variety of school settings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience across different schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning and personal development.
• Assisting with classroom management and implementing tailored learning plans.
• Helping students develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
• Monitoring and recording student progress and reporting to teachers.
• Encouraging independence and confidence in all aspects of school life.

Skills & Qualities Required

• Experience working with children, preferably in a SEN or educational setting.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different school environments.
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting children\’s development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable.
