We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs in a variety of school settings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience across different schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting individual students or small groups with their learning and personal development.
- Assisting with classroom management and implementing tailored learning plans.
- Helping students develop social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
- Monitoring and recording student progress and reporting to teachers.
- Encouraging independence and confidence in all aspects of school life.
Skills & Qualities Required
- Experience working with children, preferably in a SEN or educational setting.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to different school environments.
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting children\βs development.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable.
