- Plan and deliver dynamic, practical lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Integrate CAD/CAM technology and modern manufacturing methods into learning
- Support students in developing design thinking, technical skills and resilience
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote STEM and design innovation across the school
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school\’s behaviour policy
- Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns
- Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence
Qualifications and Experience
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Read the DfE \’Keeping Children Safe in Education\’ (2025 document)
- Has strong Design Technology subject knowledge in line with the National Curriculum
