Position Summary

The Production Manager will support our team in UK by overseeing the entire operational flow from order fulfillment process, production schedules, and follow through on logistics coordination with logistics manager.

This role ensures timely delivery of high-quality products by managing client orders, collaborating with vendors, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of production management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 1 year contract, beginning in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment & Processing
  • Manage order status updates, commitment dates, and communicate with our internal team and clients. Escalate late or critical orders where necessary.
  • Oversee client POs and production timelines; work with vendors to ensure timely completion of orders and track production statuses.
  • Review costs and pricing from PO’s and convert PO’s and forward to suppliers.
  • Sign off final costs and follow-up on supplier invoicing with finance team.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements such as Prop 65, REACH testing, and maintain social compliance throughout the production cycle – working together with compliance team.
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages of the product development cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize risks and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Manage PPS samples from handover, seeing through final sampling till sign off – which will launch production.
  • Create and manage administrative documents, including Pre-Production Samples (PPS) and range boards, and set up processes for all clients.
  • Build and manage production schedules, working closely with the development team to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Oversee domestic and global production (including China, Europe, and third-party vendors) and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Serve as the key operational contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Raise & send all final invoicing to customer, and follow up on any after care.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain support
  • Follow up on quotes and budgets, together with logistics manager – making sure live projects stay within budget.
  • Action live shipments with logistics manager, obtaining initial shipping documentation (CI and PL) from the supplier.
  • Follow up on planning and initial & final costs for co-packing with 3PL partner.
  • Monitor any ongoing shipping movements together with logistics manager, updating clients where needed.
  • Planning, quoting and booking any co-packing projects on mailers with external 3PL partners for further distribution to markets, where needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a production manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and French, with a focus on relationship-building both internally and with clients.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, distribution channels, and product QA/QC standards.
  • Experience with Prop 65, REACH testing, and social compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), Google Suite, and project management tools.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new applications and systems.
  • Agile problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple clients, timelines, and purchase orders simultaneously.
