Reports To: Commercial Director / Co-Founder

Company Type: Technology Transformation & Software Delivery Consultancy

About the Opportunity

We are a senior-led technology transformation consultancy working primarily with PE-backed and enterprise clients across Financial Services, Insurance, and adjacent sectors. We deploy lean, embedded teams of real experts to solve complex change initiatives - with a firm belief in building Long-Term Independence for our clients rather than billing large, permanent benches.

We are seeking a high-caliber Engagement Director to own portfolio commercial performance, client intimacy, and account expansion across our existing relationships.

What You Will Own

  • Portfolio P&L & Revenue Expansion: Own performance across the portfolio, protecting margins and driving 15–25% YoY revenue growth through trusted account expansion and advisory work.
  • Strategic Account Planning & QBRs: Establish structured QBRs, stakeholder maps, and multi-year growth roadmaps for key enterprise accounts.
  • New Project Development: Partner closely with our Tech Director and delivery leads to uncover client pain points, translate them into technical discovery, and structure new scopes/PoCs.
  • High-Value Advisory Streams: Design and scale recurring, sticky advisory models that add long-term strategic value to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Portfolio Health & Governance: Oversee NPS (Target: 60+), keep revenue churn below 5%, and manage monthly revenue, pipeline, and forecasting reports.

Your First 90 Days

  • Month 1: Complete a comprehensive portfolio health audit (baseline NPS, account risk flags, expansion opportunities).
  • Month 2: Build account strategies for our top 5 enterprise accounts and launch a standardized QBR template.
  • Month 3: Scope 3–4 near-term expansion projects with the Tech Director and pilot a recurring advisory model across key accounts.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 8+ years as a Client Partner, Engagement Director, Principal Consultant, or Senior Account Lead within B2B technology consulting, digital transformation, or professional services.
  • Consultative Commerciality: Proven track record of growing existing accounts organically via QBRs, trusted advisor relationships, and structured account plans (not aggressive sales pitches).
  • Technical Fluency: Able to sit alongside a Tech Director or Lead Architect, understand complex delivery challenges, and translate client needs into structured proposals.
  • Sector Context: Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Private Equity-backed environments is highly desirable, as is exposure to emerging tech/AI initiatives.
  • Mindset: You thrive in agile, senior-led environments where structure is valued, but bureaucracy is rejected.

Why Join?

  • Direct P&L ownership of an established, high-profile client portfolio (including FTSE-level and PE-backed brands).
  • Work within a high-trust model that prioritises genuine value delivery over "bench bloating."
  • Significant executive visibility and room to shape the firm's client engagement framework.

Interested candidates with experience leading engagement-led portfolio growth in tech transformation are invited to submit their CV for a confidential discussion.
