We are working with an established fintech powerhouse managing trillions in assets. With the backing of a premier Private Equity firm, they are poised to redefine the investment landscape. We are looking for a visionary, AI-native CTO to lead our evolution from a traditional industry leader to an AI-first disruptor. You will be responsible for modernising the core architecture and embedding generative and predictive AI into the very DNA of how they manage global wealth.

The Role

As CTO, you will own the technology strategy and execution. Your mandate is simple but ambitious: Modernise, Automate, and Innovate. You will transition their legacy strengths into a high-velocity, AI-driven platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Transformation: Architect and execute a roadmap to build "AI-native" products. Moving beyond simple integration to creating autonomous investment workflows and hyper-personalised client experiences.
  • Modernisation: Overhaul engineering practices, moving the needle on CI/CD, cloud-native infrastructure, and data democratisation.
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO and PE board to align technology investments with aggressive growth targets.
  • Scale Engineering Culture: Lead, mentor, and grow an elite global engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance, curiosity, and rapid experimentation.
  • Data as an Asset: Turn our massive datasets into a competitive moat by implementing cutting-edge LLM frameworks and predictive analytics.

Who You Are

  • Pro-AI Advocate: You don’t just follow AI trends; you’ve lived them. You understand the difference between a wrapper and a truly native AI architecture.
  • Fintech Veteran: You have a deep understanding within fintech (ideally investment), regulatory requirements, and the complexities of managing high-value assets.
  • Proven Moderniser: You’ve successfully led a digital transformation or modernised a legacy stack in a high-stakes environment.
  • Business Minded: You can work with the wider business and investors, and understand how technology drives valuation, scale, and operational efficiency.
  • The "Builder" Mentality: Despite your seniority, you stay close to the code and the craft. You know what "good" looks like in a modern tech stack.

If this sounds of interest then please apply and we will be in touch with more detail.
