OUR ORGANISATION Twelve Securis, formed from the merger of Twelve Capital and Securis Investment Partners, is a leading, founder-led business and one of the largest, most experienced insurance-focused investment managers globally. With offices in London, Zurich, Munich, Bermuda and Tokyo we manage in excess of USD 9.5 billion in assets primarily in Catastrophe (Cat) Bonds and other Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS). THE ROLE We are hiring an Operations Analyst with a strong background in investment operations on a permanent, full-time basis to join a dynamic working environment. The position is based in our London office and will support core functions as outlined below. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Process investment transactions accurately and efficiently, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement Liaise with front office, dealers, custodians and counterparties to process security settlements Investigate and follow-up on outstanding trade confirmations and failed trades Perform daily reconciliations of investment records with custodian and counterparty statements to identify and resolve discrepancies Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk Ensure all transactions and operations comply with relevant regulations and internal policies Maintain and update internal and external systems with investment and product reference data Support product lifecycle events (e.g., onboarding of new funds, fund restructurings, and fund liquidations) Assist in the testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements Handle internal as well as external ad-hoc requests Communicate clearly and collaboratively internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, custodians, and other departments PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS University degree (BA equivalent) and/or 2-3 years’ relevant experience in Operations/Middle Office within the Investment Management industry Solid understanding of financial instruments (fixed income, equities, FX, futures, swaps, etc.) Comprehensive trade settlements knowledge with experience using Omgeo CTM and Alert is an advantage Process-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules Advanced Excel knowledge Experience with VBA, SQL and Python is an advantage Team-oriented, with a proactive, positive approach to tasks Excellent command of English both written and spoken The right to work in the UK WHAT WE OFFER Opportunity to work in a fast-growing segment of the asset management industry International, inclusive, and dynamic work environment in a company that values innovation and initiative Competitive compensation package EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES At Twelve Securis, we champion equal opportunities, recognising and valuing the distinct contributions each individual offers.
