As we continue to grow, we are now seeking a skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Birmingham / West Midlands. This role is ideal for experienced professionals seeking autonomy, variety and the opportunity to deliver quality‑driven work while contributing to projects that protect public health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys of commercial, domestic and some industrial premises.
- Conduct bulk samplings as required.
- Compile and check reports.
- Participate in audits and re‑surveys as required.
- Liaise with clients and other internal departments.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- BHOS P402 certified or equivalent RSPH qualifications.
- 3 years or more experience in a surveyor role within the asbestos industry.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work well independently and be a strong team player.
- Organised with keen eye for detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desired
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience of using the TEAMS asbestos management system.
