One of our clients in Milton Keynes is looking for a project manager role, pay rolled through them. They often extend their contracts; however, no guarantees are provided. The role comes with fantastic benefits.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Involvement from project inception/RFP to identify project goals and scope out requirements/resources.
  • Liaise with the sales team to appropriately price tender documents, taking into account all potential overspends and mitigating risks.
  • Work with the team to produce schedules, resource recruitment, training documentation, and RAMS to meet all customer requirements.
  • Determine potential challenges that can increase costs or cause delays.
  • Produce tracking documentation/asset tracking and use appropriate resources and systems to improve internal efficiencies within G+D systems and teams.
  • Ensure all logistics meet project requirements and engineer material resource requests.
  • Act as an intermediary between upper management, customer project management team, and the internal project team.
  • Produce MI data for internal/external stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Meet with top management and clients to identify project requirements, ensuring suitable delivery timelines and costs are evaluated.
  • Produce cost templates and assist with tender documents with the Sales Team.
  • Create project plans according to agreed milestones and chair/attend stakeholder meetings with Management/Client, communicating project plans and updates as required.
  • Maintain project schedules, asset tracking, site communications, and project documentation.
  • Produce customer MI reports using online portals as determined in the scope.
  • Procure resources and produce training media/courses, ensuring company compliance to EHS and client requirements.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are procured appropriately, and logistics for collection and deliveries for clients, engineers, and disposal (according to WIEE) are fulfilled.
  • Ensure all EHS requirements are met, and all engineer training levels are appropriate to the project.
