ITV News is looking for exceptional senior journalists to play a pivotal role at the heart of our newsgathering operation. As a Content Editor, you'll lead our news teams across the UK and around the world, driving coverage of breaking news, major investigations and the stories that set the agenda.

Working across the Home and Foreign Desks in the ITV Network Newsroom, you'll be at the centre of editorial decision-making, deploying teams, spotting opportunities and ensuring we deliver distinctive, authoritative journalism. No two days are the same. One moment you could be leading coverage of a major domestic story, the next coordinating reporting from international teams on a developing global event.

This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding journalist with exceptional news judgement, strong editorial leadership and a passion for original, agenda-setting journalism. You'll inspire and support talented teams in a fast-paced environment, helping ITV News tell compelling stories across all platforms, reaching millions of people every day.

A deep understanding of ITV News platforms is essential. We're looking for journalists who can drive distinctive, agenda-setting coverage for programmes, digital and streaming platforms, identifying opportunities to tell stories in different ways and ensuring our journalism reaches audiences wherever they are.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping content for the new ITV News App, one of the most exciting developments in our digital strategy. This is a rare opportunity to help define how ITV News reaches and connects with new wider digital, social and streaming audiences as well as our programmes.
