Responsibilities
As a reporter on the Mobile team, you will research, write and break news to large digital audiences – working on some of the biggest stories of the UK’s news agenda. Your keen eye for a top line, diligent newsgathering and high standards of journalism will be crucial to helping Sky News stay at the front of the UK and world news – and you will be at the heart of this operation.
Whether it’s stories about Gaza, the Royal Family, the war in Ukraine, political events, high-profile court cases, or live events such as the coronation or elections, you will spot top lines and write about them with flair and speed. This role is central to Sky News’ overnight and early morning rundown and the winning candidate will be an organised, experienced journalist who can write and produce, working in a very small team with clear goals.
