We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Body Builder to join our team.

The successful candidate will be required to fabricate and build aluminium and steel tipper trailer and rigid bodies, using all appropriate MIG, TIG welding techniques to a satisfactory standard, following all relevant engineering documents and drawings to meet defined production targets.

Duties

  • Check drawings, measurements and kit list prior to production
  • Implementing Health and Safety policies.
  • Manufacture and assemble quality parts from jigs and fixtures.
  • Fabricate products in accordance with Engineering drawings and standards.
  • Support the quality system with respect to timely reporting of fabrication issues by using the relevant Non-Conformance reporting system and by ensuring that job route cards are completed for every job.
  • Focus on time and productivity targets.
  • Ensure that all electrical appliances, including welding equipment is turned off at the end of each day and that the bay is left in a clean and safe condition.
  • Always maintain a professional and responsible attitude.
  • Actively participating in the reduction of waste, and in the management of waste through separation of waste products.
  • Management, care and use of your own personal protective equipment.
